The reconstruction of ST. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church at The World Trade Center

Although this project was not of a significant size, it certainty made up for it in complexity. This may have been a challenge to design, but the steel detailing and then fabrication and erection was so challenging it is questionable as to how many companies out there could have pulled this off.

Dowco was selected by E & H Steel Corporation to produce detail shop and field drawings for this project, specifically due to its complex design and the known ability of our staff to tackle such projects. Dowco were also on call to assist with any special fabrication measurements required to ensure all steel was precise. The end result, as can be seen in these pictures, is some very well fabricated and very impressive looking steelwork. Hats off to all who participated, especially the team on the shop floor that managed to put this impressive structure together.
